This Week at the EYC July 21-30 / 16′ daysailer for sale
In addition to the usual sailboat races, bridge, bunco, group sailing lessons, private sailing lessons, cookouts, swimming, and just plain going sailing, here’s what’s happening at the EYC this week:
EYC YOGA begins on Tuesday, July 24 and will also take place on July 31 and August 7. Yoga will again be led by EYC member Lisa Giffords. Yoga will be held Olga Dana Park, across the street from the EYC, the use of which has been generously provided by its owner, the Ephraim Historical Foundation. A level 1-2 class will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and a gentle class will be held from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. There is no required fee to participate, but participants may choose to make a donation to help fund EYC sailing scholarships.
The WEDNESDAY JUNIOR ACTIVITY on July 25 will be EYC Idol / EYC’s Got Talent. Join friends and fellow junior sailors to show off your talents! Juniors will gather and team up at the yacht club to create skits, perform for their peers, and have loads of fun as our very own EYC staff judges the contestants. Drop off at EYC at 6:30 PM and pick up at 8:00 PM. No dinner served this week, and no charge. EYC junior activies are open to EYC members and guests who have at least completed first grade. Sign up on the poster at the EYC. For more information contact EYC junior activities co-chairs Betsy Steele [email protected] or Duska Pearson [email protected].
The THURSDAY TEEN ACTIVITY on July 26 will be a barbeque at the EYC followed by open gym at the YMCA. Cost $5, plus bring a dessert to share. Sign up on the poster at the EYC. Teen activities are open to EYC members and guests who have at least completed 8th grade. If you have questions or want to volunteer to drive, contact EYC Teen Activities chair Heather Andersen [email protected].
