Following the blessing, we will take a moment to honor and celebrate the cherished EYC members we have lost since last year’s gathering. Their friendships, stories, and contributions remain a meaningful part of our club and community.
6:00 p.m. | Opening Social Begins!
Stay and celebrate the start of summer with fellow members and friends! EYC will provide wine, beer, and soft drinks — please bring an appetizer to share.
Our Commodore will introduce the 2026 EYC staff, and we’ll toast to another season of sailing, friendship, and memories on Eagle Harbor.
This event is open to EYC members, guests ages 18+, and all EYC staff.
Summer Ready at the EYC 2026: Clean Up Day, Volunteers Needed, Dry Slips
The countdown to summer is officially on! While the harbor may still be waking up, we are ready for our dock equipment volunteers to help get lifts in, prepare club boats, and make sure the EYC is ready for another unforgettable season on the water.
For many of us, summer doesn’t truly begin until we’re back on the dock, rigging boats, catching up with friends, and watching the sunset from the clubhouse porch.
Clean-Up Day — This Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 9-12
Join us for our annual pre-season Clean-Up Day on Saturday, May 23. Help us get the clubhouse, docks, and grounds ready for a fantastic summer season. Whether you can stay for an hour or the whole time, we would love to have you there.
Coffee, donuts, and plenty of good company will be provided for all our amazing volunteers.
Volunteering at the EYC
The EYC runs on amazing volunteers, and there are so many ways to get involved this summer. From regattas and social events to junior activities and club traditions, we’re looking for members and families to help make the 2026 season a success.
Dry slips and lockers are now available for the 2026 season. If you plan to keep your boat at the club this summer, now is the time to reserve your spot. The EYC has a variety of dry slips available for rent to club members including:Flying Scot or Laser Dry Slip ($550) , Kayaks ($115), Laser ($550), and Stacked Opti ($115).
• Slips may not be assigned or sublet
• Boats may occasionally need to be removed during major regattas if not actively participating
• Club boats remain available for member use by reservation

The EYC’s Fyr Bal Pancake Breakfast is held at the Ephraim Village Hall. Breakfast includes all-you-can-eat-and-drink buttermilk pancakes, Marchants breakfast sausage links, coffee and orange juice. This is a bargain at only $12 per person ($5 children age 10 and under). The Pancake Breakfast is a great way to start off your Fyr Bal weekend and to catch up with your friends as summer begins. On this evening, we bless our fleet, have a moment of silence in honor of members who have passed, meet the current staff and then mingle in fellowship. It is a fun & friendly night on the dock, reuniting with summer friends and meeting EYC’s newest members.

Open Play. The American Standard System is the basis of play. This is geared to members who have taken lessons at the club, or those lessons elsewhere and experience are comparable. No partner of signup is needed for open play offerings.

Mah Jongg is at to the EYC! This will be a drop in league and the number of tables will be determined by the number of players. All Members welcome!

Weekly Partners Bridge – Players should come with a partner, or contact one of the coordinators who may be able to help match a partner request. Players keep the same partner all evening. The Tuesday group generally selects a restaurant for dinner out following the bridge games, but that is optional.
