Joani Lewis Memorial Sail and Social Saturday July, 29th

Come join us for a fun sail around Eagle Harbor in memory of Joani Lewis, who loved nothing more than an uplifting sail with friends. We’ll cruise the harbor in Flying Scots for about an hour then head back to the dock for wine, cheese and Door County Pie! Let’s toast to the love of  sailing!

Women’s Regatta  Thursday, August 3rd

Ephraim Regatta Clinic

The EYC regatta clinic will be just as informational as last year’s clinic and is included with your regatta registration. We hope all Regatta participants take advantage of this educational opportunity.  This year, David will focus on boat handling for our Friday clinic.  They will present their findings from their review of video and telemetry data to improve both boat handling and boat speed.  The morning lecture will include a breakdown a few of the most common boat handling maneuvers and dive into the details of how they determine what is fast on the race course.  The day will also include both on and off the water technique review and implementation, break out groups and short practice races.

Ephraim Regatta Racing Committee Volunteers Needed

The EYC is searching for volunteers for the Race Committee.  Sailing experience is not necessary just a willingness to learn and some strong arms! Please reach out to Woody Heidler [email protected] for more information.

First Mates Potluck

We would love to give a big shout out to Debbie Brightbill & Karen Bierman, who stepped up once again to chair the potluck earlier this month.  They pulled together a full team of volunteers without a lot of notice and made this wonderful event happen.  Thanks to all those that helped and came out to enjoy the friendship and food.
