Annual Recognition Awards

The EYC would like to recognize  Claudia Werner and Lauren Taylor as the recipients of the 2022 Volunteer of  the Year and the 2022 Sportsmanship Award.  These two individuals are always on the EYC Dock.  Claudia volunteers in numerous capacities big and small including but not limited to the Laser Regatta, the Ice Cream Social, the EYC landscaping, and creating beautiful flower arrangements.  Lauren could be seen on the dock getting ready to go sailing.  She raced many nights for  the EYC race series and in weekend regattas.  She demonstrated great discipline and poise on the course and towards her fellow sailors.  Congratulations to you both!!
