CPR and First Aid Training / Spring Eagle’s Cry
All EYC staff are required to have current CPR and First Aid certification. The EYC hosts certification classes for its staff each June. If you would like to join our staff in learning CPR and/or First Aid, please let us know.
We have room for three additional CPR students on Thursday, June 14 from 1 PM to 5 PM. We have room for six additional First Aid students Friday, June 15 from 1 PM to 5 PM.
The cost for each class is $19, or $7.25 for those 62 or over. You will also need a book, which can be shared by two people. The cost is $15 for the CPR book and $11.25 for the First Aid book.
Enroll now! Space is limited! First come, first served. To enroll, contact EYC Personnel chair Marsella Fults [email protected].
The Spring 2012 issue of the Eagle’s Cry has been published and can be viewed online at www.eyc.org/eaglescry.
This issue of the Eagle’s Cry includes some very interesting articles, including excerpts from the 1962-1965 Seagull cruising log of former EYC member Jim Packard, and remembrances of former EYC member Larry Lewis from over a dozen EYC members. And, as always, the Eagle’s Cry is packed with useful information about the EYC’s upcoming season.
Thanks to the Eagle’s Cry editing / publishing crew of Fran Morof, Alison Tatlow and Nancy Claypool. They put in many, many hours twice a year to produce our fine newsletter.
The Eagle’s Cry is also mailed in hard copy form to all EYC members. If you have not already received yours, it should arrive in a few days.
