Pancake Breakfast & Opening Social Reflection
Fyr Bal Tradition Continues: Pancakes for Sailing Scholarships

We had another successful Fyr Bal Pancake Breakfast honoring Aaron R. Moore and raising money for sailing scholarships! It was great to have new volunteers flipping pancakes and clearing and setting tables. Seasoned volunteers made quick work of slicing 48 lbs of strawberries, grilling 60 lbs of Marchant’s sausages, and making over 650 pancakes and greeting 275 hungry diners. With the help of all of your smiling faces we raised $3200 that will cover sailing lessons for Door County’s local children. We’re already looking forward to Fyr Bal 2027! -Jane Reyerson Ford & Lisa Forsman
A special thank you to our volunteers! Volunteers: Susie Gebhardt, Ann Abbott, Nancy H, Rob Trelevan, Rob & Sherry Moore, Barb & Tim Aik, Dan Mielke, Jay Lott, Bob Richter, Stephanie Richter. Kevin Forsman, Bill Ford, Bill Hoag, Laura Thielen, Jackson Graham, Lisa Olson, Julie Kircher, Mike Schellpfeffer, Carol Fiedler, and Betsy & Marco Prete.
A Meaningful Start to the Season

Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate these special EYC traditions. From pancakes on the dock to evenings spent together by the water, it’s the people and memories made here that continue to make EYC such a special place. We’re grateful for a wonderful start to the season and look forward to many more summer days together at the club.
