This week at the EYC May 24 – June 1

The EYC begins another fun, safe, social sailing season!  Here’s what’s happening:

On Saturday, May 24, all EYC members are requested to HELP OPEN THE EYC from 9:00 AM to noon.  Many hands make light work, and we have tasks for persons of all abilities and strengths, so please stop by. Last year we had more than 50 people helping out of almost 1000 people who are EYC members — let’s see if we can exceed that this year!  The EYC is volunteer-managed, so every bit of help keeps costs and dues to a minimum. The EYC will serve a brat, burger and hot dog lunch picnic to everyone who helps; BYO sides and beverages!

EYC members who have rented a locker can access their lockers beginning at 9:00 AM on May 24.  A few lockers remain available.  To rent one, go to

EYC members who have rented a dry slip or slot can place their boats, boards or kayaks in their dry slip or slot beginning 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 24.  Some dry slips remain available.  To rent a slip, go to

EYC boats of all sizes and types will RAFT UP AT NICOLET BAY on the evening of Sunday, June 25. The weather promises to be beautiful so please (if the boatyard has launched your boat yet) join us for drinks and a picnic!

The EYC will be open and staffed from 9:00 AM to noon and from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM 7 days per week beginning Sunday, May 25.
