The EYC needs silent auction prizes and volunteers

The EYC’s July 13 gala Dinner with Gary Jobson and silent auction is only 12 days away.

WE STILL NEED A LOT MORE ITEMS FOR THE SILENT AUCTION.  If you have something you could donate, such as a unique service, a bottle (or a case) of something good to drink, a piece of art, a boat you are no longer using, something from your business, or something else of interest to those attending this event, please contact [email protected].   The EYC appreciates your support, and all donors will be recognized in multiple ways to partygoers, EYC members and the general public.  The EYC’s 501(c)(3) status means your donation is tax-deductible, even non-cash donations.

Or, if you want to volunteer to help obtain auction items from other donors, we have a list of potential donors, and we will work with you to find the donor(s) who would be best for you to approach.

Also, we could use a few more volunteers to work before and/or during this event.

If you wish to volunteer, even if you are not able to attend the party, please contact [email protected]

ALMOST 200 EYC MEMBERS, PARENTS AND FRIENDS ARE ALREADY REGISTERED TO ATTEND.  This is your chance to wear your sportiest summer party attire, and mingle with fellow sailors and supporters of sailing, all while supporting the EYC in its mission of providing affordable access to sailing, including sailing lessons and amateur sailboat racing.  Gary Jobson’s post-dinner presentation will be entertaining and informative for sailors and non-sailors alike.

Please attend to have a great time and support the EYC!

Congratulations to everyone who competed in the EYC’s annual Family Regatta on July 29, including the winning crew, Woody Heidler, Erica Heidler, and Eric Hoyerman.  Complete results are at
