Wrapping Up the Season

The docks are still buzzing, the harbor is calling, and a few signature events remain before we shift into closing mode. Here’s what’s left on the calendar—come make the most of it!

Sailing Lessons – Two Weeks Left

Session E2 runs this week (August 3–7), followed by our final Session F (August 10–14). These last sessions are a wonderful chance for sailors of all ages and levels to keep learning, practicing, and enjoying Eagle Harbor.

Last Junior Activity – Red Putter

Don’t miss the final Junior Activity of the season: Red Putter! It’s a fun, classic EYC tradition and the perfect way for the juniors to wrap up their summer of activities together. Sign up in the clubhouse!

Last Week of the EYC Weekly Race Series

This is the final week of the regular Weekly Race Series across the fleets. Get out on the water for those last starts, tight finishes, and series points. Check the racing calendar and Notices of Race for exact times, boat draws, and any final details.

Last Friday Night Potluck

Join us for the final Friday Night Potluck of the season, following the races. Bring a dish to share, gather on the dock with friends and family, and enjoy one more classic EYC evening as the sun sets over the harbor.

EYC Annual Membership Meeting – Friday

Mark your calendars for the Annual Membership Meeting on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the clubhouse. It’s an important opportunity to hear club updates, celebrate the season, and take part in the business of our wonderful yacht club community. All members are encouraged to attend.

Commodore’s Cocktail and End of Season Awards – Saturday

Cap off the season in style at the Commodore’s Cocktail and End of Season Awards on Saturday. We’ll recognize racing series winners, outstanding volunteers, and the people who make EYC such a special place. It’s a festive evening of celebration, camaraderie, and gratitude—details and volunteer opportunities are available on the calendar and recent emails.

The Commodore’s Cocktail is planned for Saturday, August 12 at Hidden Acres Farm in Sister Bay. It’s a wonderful evening to recognize the season’s winners, volunteers, and the whole EYC community. Volunteer Link
