EYC Hosting ILCA District 20 Championship July 18–19

We’re thrilled to announce that Ephraim Yacht Club will host the ILCA (Laser) District 20 Championship on July 18 and 19, with a special guest clinic on July 17! 

District 20 (Wisconsin & Illinois) is one of the most competitive districts in the country. We’re gearing up for a big fleet and expecting around 50 boats across the ILCA 7, ILCA 6, and ILCA 4 classes. This is going to be a high-energy weekend of top-notch racing right on our home waters!

Participation in this regatta requires an ILCA membership. You will be prompted to renew or join ILCA while signing up for the regatta.

This Friday’s boat draw will serve as your official boat assignment for the regatta. Sign up early to secure your boat, pick your sail, and get everything dialed in exactly the way you like it.

We’re welcoming Tarkan Bolat, an international-level Laser champion and coach, for a full-day Race Clinic on Friday, July 17. Tarkan has competed at the World Championships and is known for turning good sailors into sharp, tactical racers. He’ll also be offering limited on-the-water coaching during the regatta. You do not want to miss this!
