Fyr Bal Weekend-Friday Night Races, Pancakes and the Fyr Bal Regatta
Happy Summer Solstice! Here’s what’s happening at the EYC this weekend.
Friday Night Races and Family Potluck- June 20, 5:00 p.m.
Friday nights are for 420s, RS Terras and Lasers. Skippers meeting at 5:00 p.m. The EYC weekly series is open to all members and members can use their own boats or a club boat.
If you are not racing come socialize at the end of the dock during the races, starting at 6:00 pm. Cheer on your favorite sailor from the bleachers or chair. Join us for a post-race potluck, bring a side dish to share and a main dish for your crew.
Aaron R Moore Pancake Breakfast- June 21, 8:00-10:00 a.m.
On Saturday head on down to the Village and the EYC’s Aaron R Moore Pancake Breakfast at the Ephraim Village Hall. Last year we raised over $2000 towards the Aaron R Moore sailing scholarship fund. We’re planning ahead for more pancakes, sausages and juice to raise even more! Do not miss the freshest strawberry and tastiest sausages in the county!
Fyr Bal Regatta and the EYC Series Flying Scot Races- June 21, 9:00 a.m.
After attending the Pancake Breakfast at the Village, grab your crew and race in our annual Fyr Bal Regatta. Skippers meeting at 9:00 a.m., First gun at 10:a.m. This will be included with our regular Flying Scot Saturday races with trophies at the end. Here is the link to the NOR/SI
