EYC Opening Social on Saturday, June 8th, Fyr Bal, Fleet 44, Bunco and Junior Activities
Blessing of the Fleet/Remembrance Ceremony/Opening Social- Saturday, June 8th
Adult members please join us on the dock Saturday, June 8th, for our first event of the 2024 season. The evening begins with the Blessing of the Fleet at 5:30 p.m., followed by a remembrance of members who have passed away at 5:45 p.m. The Opening social begins at 6:00 p.m. Beer, wine, and Champagne provided. Please bring an appetizer (serving 12) to share. Sorry, no pets allowed. This is a great time to catch up with old friends, meet some of our new members and celebrate the start of summer.
Barb Zeigler and Lisa Forsman are coordinating this event and are looking for volunteers to greet members at 5:45 p.m., Bar Servers from 7:45-9:00p.m. and clean-up help after the event. We could use your help! To volunteer, sign up HERE.
EYC Fyr Bal Festivities- Saturday, June 15th
The EYC will join the rest of Ephraim to celebrate the upcoming summer solstice. We kick it off the day with our much anticipated
Fyr Bal Pancake Breakfast-8:00-10:00 a.m.
The EYC hosts the annual pancake breakfast in the Village Hall. Start off the day with Pancakes and Marchant sausages. Tickets are Adults $15 and 12 and under $7. Fyr Bal Regatta/EYC Weekly Series- 9:00 a.m. Skippers Meeting, 10:00 a.m. Start
The Fyr Bal Regatta is open to all Flying Scot racers and is held in conjunction with regular Saturday morning series races. Up to three races will be sailed. Trophies for 1st – 3rd are awarded at the conclusion of the races. The EYC Series is open to all club members and a boat draw will be held for the use of club boats. Flying Scot Fleet 44 Meeting- Following the Regatta
Calling all Flying Scot owners, Sailors, Racers and interested members. It’s time to get boats ready for the 2024 sailing season! Flying Scot Fleet 44 will be holding a fleet meeting on Saturday, June 8 at the club. Come down to learn what’s new with Flying Scot sailing, plans for the summer, opportunities for racing and fun sailing this summer.

Fyr Bal Family Cookout- 6:00 p.m.
At the end of the day join us on the dock with your family. The EYC will provide Hamburgers and Brats. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share (serves 12). This event is BYOB. All are welcome. After the cookout, stay to enjoy the sunset on the dock while the fires burn down along the Ephraim Shoreline. The EYC dock is the perfect place to watch the fireworks display.
Join us for Bunco Night at the EYC, June 10th 7:oo p.m.
Are you ready for an evening of fun, laughter, and making new friends? Look no further than our upcoming Bunco Night at the EYC! Even if you’ve never heard of Bunco before, don’t worry! It’s an incredibly easy game to learn – you’ll pick it up in just 3 minutes, guaranteed. Plus, you’ll have the chance to mingle with fellow members and forge new connections. At the EYC, the conversation is just as important as the game! We’ll provide some simple snacks and we’ll even take a short break to enjoy the beautiful sunset together. Your participation in this event not only promises a great time but also supports EYC’s educational programs, making a positive impact on our community.
Junior Activities begin Wednesday, June 12th
Got a junior member (student or family membership)? Then you need to know about the EYC’s Wednesday night Junior Activities! Kids 7 and up can participate in our weekly activity during the summer season. The week’s activity will be posted at the EYC clubhouse and students/kids can sign up on the poster. Our first event of the summer, drop-off and pick-up are at the Red Putter promptly 6:00p.m.-8:00 pm.
