Volunteer Thank You’s

We love our volunteers at the EYC  and would like especially give a shout out to: Jane Ford (Pancake Breakfast) and Joanie Lewis and Mandy Miller (Opening Social) for their leadership, hard work and enthusiasm in ensuring these two events were successful.  Thank you to all those that pitched in at either or both events!!  These two events were a wonderful way to start the summer and were enjoyed by all, thanks to their efforts and the help of all the volunteers.

2019 Nominating Committee

 The 2019 Nominating Committee has been named: Fred Lewis, Chair, Jodi Hoyerman and Rob Moore.  If there are any members who may have an interest serving  the EYC as a member of the board, please reach out to any one of them.

Racing News

Opti Regatta will be held on July 7th.  Both members and non-members can compete. However, only members are eligible for the EYC-owned boat draw.  Sign-up now to participate by sending an email to [email protected] . More information can be found using this link.

Geezergatta Flying Scot Race, Saturday June 29th at 10 am.

This is the EYC’s version of Homecoming, so come out and compete against your favorite former instructors from the good old days! Let’s see who still has it and if you do you will bring home some hardware for 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
Fyr Ball Regatta has been rescheduled to July 27th (3rd times the charm??!).

Life is better with the Ice Cream Social!  July 4th, 7 pm.

Come on out an enjoy this annual family gathering to celebrate the 4th of July.  Catch up with friends, old and new, bring an ice cream topping to share, and enjoy making your own bespoke ice cream sundae. All ice cream generously donated by IceCreamSource.com and Jessica and Steve Sauter.  We are still looking for volunteer scoopers (18 and up) from 8:00-8:30, if you can lend a hand sign up HERE!!!

Ephraim Regatta Needs your boat (and/or you)!

We are in need of THREE boats for the regatta:  Specifically we are looking for a Signal Boat (the main Committee Boat) for both Saturday 8/3 and Sunday 8/4.  Additionally ,we need a Judge Boat to patrol the race courses both 8/3 and 8/4 and a Safety/Tow Boat for Sunday 8/4.  Please contact Stacey Rieu for more information.

 

EYC Merchandise Dock Sales

Starting this Friday June 28th, EYC merchandise will be sold at the dock Fridays from 11:30-1:30. Come on down and get some gear for the whole crew!

Raffle to Recognize Volunteers

It’s no secret that our club depends heavily on volunteers to make this club the awesome community that we all know and love. Now, we have a way to show these folks how much we appreciate them.
