Help close the club this Saturday!
Spend Tomorrow Morning at the EYC, 9 AM: Please Help Close the Club
Come join fellow members and committee chairs in our traditional “Closing of the Club.” This time-honored and rewarding tradition involves members working together to put away boats, securing the dock, and organizing the clubhouse. Members should come ready to work together and then celebrate with a lunch time BBQ (burgers and dogs are provided but bring your own beverages). We’re hoping to get 50 volunteers to make for manageable work. You won’t want to miss out on this last event of the season!
420 Racing Clinic on Sunday Sept. 4th 9:00 – 3:00.
Join our Gibraltar High School Sailing Team and our friends from the UW-Milwaukee Sailing Team for some Labor Day Weekend sailing. Former EYC Sailing Director, Isak Peterson will be leading the sailors through a day of 420 drills on the water both in the morning and afternoon. Students will take a mid-day lunch break on the dock. After the clinic, participants will de-rig several 420s for winter storage. Free for EYC members; $10 for non-members. Lunch provided. Contact: Jodi Hoyerman, EYC Membership Chair, [email protected] or 920-421-1652
Please empty lockers and slips
It’s that time of year.
The EYC loves donations
For those of you cleaning our your garage or summer home this time of year, remember that the EYC will take your donations (for us to use, or auction). The fall Gibraltar sailing team could use some drysuits, and of course, the club would love your boats or other sailing gear.
