Ephraim Regatta – mark your calendar now!

The 108th annual Ephraim Regatta will take place on August 2-3-4.  The Ephraim Regatta is always an EYC season highlight for racers and non-racers alike.  We already have a bunch of out-of-town sailors registered to come to Ephraim and test our sailing skills.  This year’s Ephraim Regatta will be one of the largest Flying Scot regattas in the United States, and will feature TWO parties!

WE STILL NEED A FEW VOLUNTEERS to drive safety boats and tow boats, and to serve on mark boats and other race committee boats.  If you would like to volunteer please contact [email protected]

Mark your calendar for these two parties:

The EPHRAIM REGATTA WELCOME PARTY will take place on Friday August 2 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Olga Dana Green (the park across the street from the EYC).  All EYC members and friends, and regatta competitors and their families, are invited to this casual event.  The menu is pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans, dessert. Soft drinks are included in admission price / BYO adult beverage. $10 ages 11 and up, $5 age 10 and under — pay at the head of the food line.  We still need some more volunteers to help with this simple, fun party.  If you would like to volunteer, contact party co-chairs Laura O’Rourke [email protected] or Jeanne Papenthien [email protected]

The LEGENDARY BRATFEST starts at 6:00 PM on Saturday, August 3.  $12 adults, $6 children 11 and under (children 5 and under are free).  Two free admissions are included in each Ephraim Regatta registration; additional admissions payable at the door.  Famous grilled brats, grill-roasted sweet corn on the cob, beer and soft drinks, volleyball, music, and great company.   Hosted by the Klein family.  Location: 3282 Gibraltar Road, Fish Creek, WI.  Directions from the EYC:  South on Hwy. 42 to intersection with Maple Grove Road.  Left (east) on Maple Grove to intersection with Gibraltar Road.  Right on Gibraltar Road to 3282.  Look for the flags on the side of the road.
