The Most Gala EYC Party of 2013
The EYC’s July 13 Dinner with Gary Jobson will be the fanciest EYC event of the summer. Even if you are not a sailor yourself, if you like a good summer party, this is one not to be missed. Over 140 EYC members and friends have already registered to attend, so there will be plenty of good company and conversation. The menu, by Alexander’s of Door County, will will include smoked salmon, cheese, fruit and vegetable hors d’oeuvres, beef tenderloin, herb-encrusted chicken, broiled Door County whitefish, pastas, salads, and a selection of delicious desserts. Your ticket price includes wine with your dinner and of course there will be a bar, too.
The silent auction will have many unique and original items, including an airplane tour of Door County, a half-day salmon fishing trip for two people, rounds of golf at several of Door County’s beautiful courses, works of original art, excellent bottles of wine and liquor, the right to name the EYC’s newest 13′ Boston Whaler, and many more!
The Peninsula Pulse interviewed Gary Jobson in connection with his upcoming visit to the EYC, and published a fine article which explains why this is a must-attend event: http://www.ppulse.com/Articles-Features-c-2013-06-20-108957.114136-Gary-Jobson-Featured-Speaker-at-Yacht-Club-Fundraiser.html
