July 1 Deadline to Join FSSA for NAC Skippers – 2009

Flying Scot class rules require that any skipper who will race in the Flying Scot North American Championship regatta must be an Active, Life, Junior, Club or Family member of the Flying Scot Sailing Association (“FSSA”) and must pay 2009 dues by July 1.

Skippers who are lottery winners and have been awarded an EYC club boat to sail in the NAC Championship August 3-7 must also join the FSSA by July 1.

LATE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE APPROVED BY FSSA FOR THE NAC. IF YOU ARE NOT SURE if you are going to compete, we strongly recommend that you join FSSA in order to keep your options open.

Exception: If you are ONLY going to skipper in the Juniors or Women’s NAC Championships (which will be held the afternoon of Sunday, August 2), and you will NOT skipper in the NAC Championship from August 3-7, the deadline for joining FSSA is August 2, 1100 hours.

To join the FSSA go to https://www.fssa.com/fsmemapl.asp

Crew are not required to be FSSA members, only skippers.
