No Junior Activity- Wednesday, July 2nd
This week there is no Junior Activity. We hope you all come out with your families to the Ice Cream Social on Friday, July 4th.
‘Geezer Gatta will be part of this week’s Friday Night Races
This Friday, July 4th the ‘Geezer Gatta will be held in conjunction with our regular Friday weekly series 420 races. Trophies will be awarded to skippers who have been former instructors at the EYC. Skippers meeting at 5:00 pm.
EYC’s Annual Ice Cream Social- Friday, July 4th 7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The EYC’s Ice Cream Social is a cherished July 4th tradition. Before heading out to watch the fireworks, come to the EYC at 7:30 p.m. to celebrate the 4th with ice cream sundaes. Three flavors of ice cream, generously provided by IcecreamSource.com, will be served. We ask that each family that attends bring a topping for our build your own sundae bar (e.g. caramel and hot chocolate sauces, your favorite candy, whipped cream, chopped fruit or nuts). We could use a few extra hands for this event. Put a smile on everyone’s face because you are scooping ice cream! Please use this link Ice Cream Social Volunteers to sign-up.
Family Regatta Saturday, July 5th – 9:00 a.m.
This Saturday, the EYC will be hosting the annual Family regatta in conjunction with the Saturday Flying Scot series. Grab your mom, dad, sister, brother, cousin, wife, husband, aunt or uncle. In awarding places in the Family Regatta, a boat will be awarded its total points for the day, including for purposes of calculating regatta scores all boats racing but not eligible for the specified regatta trophies.
Ladies (FirstMates) Potluck- Thursday, July 10 6:00 p.m.
All EYC Ladies, please mark your calendars for the First Mates Potluck on Thursday, July 10 @ 6 pm. Please plan to join us on the EYC Dock for this lovely sunset social event. All attendees are asked to bring a dish to share (main, side or dessert).
Men’s Night- Thursday, July 10 5:30 p.m.
Gentlemen of the Ephraim Yacht Club. Welcome to an evening of casual dining and
merriment with your fellow EYC friends and family — hosted by Bill Andersen, Quinn
Brennan, and Steve Sauter. Your choice of food…perhaps enough to share. There will be beer, wine and an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages provided. There is a grill available.
