US Sailing Level 2 Course, Bridge, Fyr Bal Regatta and Men’s Night

EYC was proud to host a US Sailing Level 2 Instructor Course this weekend

Thirteen instructors attended the course taught by Allison Jolly. Allison won a gold medal in the 1988 Summer Olympics – Women’s 470. Congratulations to EYC instructors George Knight, Vivi Sauter, Cameron Reynolds, Peyton Reynolds, and Max Mielke for successfully completing and earning their US Sailing Level 2 Instructor Certification.  The EYC now has 13 instructors with their Level 2 certification.
Thank you to Jess and Steve Sauter for providing accommodations for Allison during her stay.

Bridge at the EYC

Bridge continues at the clubhouse on MONDAY,  Open play, 1-3 p.m., TUESDAY, Couples bridge, 4:30 p.m., THURSDAY, Open play, 9:30-11:30 a.m.  Please remember, a paid EYC membership is required to participate in any bridge programs.  If you have questions about any of the bridge offerings, please contact Suzanne Lisle.  suzanne@sjlisle.com

Junior Activity at the dock, Wednesday June 18th

This week our Junior activity will be held on the dock. All our junior members and students are invited to the dock for a Four Square tournament and water balloon toss from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Please remember to send kids with water bottles and their PFD to be able go out on the dock.

Fyr Bal Regatta Saturday, June 21st

After attending the Pancake Breakfast at the Village, grab your crew and join us for our annual Fyr Bal Regatta.  Skippers meeting at 9:00 a.m., First gun at 10:a.m.  This will be included with our regular Flying Scot Saturday races with trophies at the end.

Gentlemen of the Ephraim Yacht Club. Welcome to an evening of casual dining and
merriment with your fellow EYC friends and family — hosted by Bill Andersen, Quinn
Brennan, and Steve Sauter. Doors open at 5:00 pm. Feel free to invite a guest.

Where: 2450 Bittersweet Lane Sister Bay, Wisconsin

What to bring: Your choice of food…perhaps enough to share. There will be beer, wine and an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages provided. There is a grill available. We’ll have an outdoor fire going.
