The Ephraim Yacht Club is a community sailing center which relies in part on donations from members and others.  Please join hundreds of other EYC members and friends who have supported the EYC with donations over the years.

To donate by mail, make your check payable to the Ephraim Yacht Club and mail it to P.O. Box 331, Ephraim, WI 54211. If the donation is in memoriam, please write that and the name on the memo line.

The Ephraim Yacht Club Donations

Ephraim Yacht Club Donations is for the shorter-term purpose of furthering the charitable mission of the EYC of sailing education, training, and competition so that students may learn the life skills and values important in being active and productive members of the community. Appropriate use of the donations include, but are not limited to, staffing, outreach programs, equipment and facilities.


The Ephraim Yacht Club Aaron R. Moore Sailing Scholarship Fund at the Door County Community Foundation, Inc.

Ephraim Yacht Club Aaron R. Moore Sailing Scholarship Fund at the Door County Community Foundation, Inc. is established for the purpose of promoting sailing among the children of Door County’s schools who would not otherwise be able to participate without financial assistance.

The Ephraim Yacht Club Endowment Fund

Ephraim Yacht Club Endowment Fund at the Door County Community Foundation, Inc. is for the longer-term purpose of furthering the charitable mission of the EYC by providing a perpetual source of funding for sailing education, training and competition so that students may learn the life skills and values important in being active and productive members of the community.  Appropriate uses of the Fund include, but are not limited to, staffing, outreach programs, equipment, and facilities.


Ephraim Yacht Club Charitable Fund at the Door County Community Foundation, Inc

Ephraim Yacht Club Charitable Fund at the Door County Community Foundation, Inc. is for the longer-term purpose of furthering the charitable mission of the EYC by providing unrestricted funding for sailing education, training and competition so that students may learn the life skills and values important in being active and productive members of the community.  Appropriate uses of the Fund include, but are not limited to, staffing, outreach programs, equipment, and facilities.

The EYC would be grateful for your donation of  in-kind items.  Among the items which the EYC needs are:

  • Flying Scot, 420, Optimist and Laser sailboats in usable condition, and parts and sails for those sailboats.
  • Powerboats from 13 to 20 feet in length suitable for teaching lessons and running races.
  • A used compact pickup truck or compact SUV, with an automatic transmission, which EYC staff and volunteers can use to launch and haul boats and trailers.
  • Outboard motors, especially four-stroke outboard motors.
  • Boat lifts (Shore Station or similar).
  • Other items which may be useful to the EYC or which the EYC can sell to raise funds.
