120th Ephraim Regatta and the Flying Scot Midwest District Championship

We need all hands on deck as this year the EYC will be the host to the 120th Ephraim Regatta as well as the Flying Scot Midwest District Championship.

Appetizers Needed, Friday, August 1st  Regatta Welcome Party for Racers

Friday, August 1st is the Ephraim Regatta Welcome Party.  We are asking all fleet members, sailors, volunteers, and interested club members to support this event.  Please bring an appetizer down to the club no later than 5:30 p.m. on Friday August 1st.  We will have many sailors who have traveled long distances and we’d like to show them our EYC hospitality by providing some light fare the night before the regatta.   Racers and Regatta volunteers are welcome to attend. 120th Ephraim Regatta and Flying Scot Midwest Championship Volunteer Needs-                  Saturday, August 2nd and Sunday August 3rd

Racing starts on Saturday, August 2nd  at 11 a.m.; however, the club prepares for the event all week long. Woody Heidler, Regatta Chair, is looking for boats and skippers to help on the markset boats for the Ephraim regatta. Tasks would include helping pull anchors and set marks. – please contact Woody at [email protected].

The EYC needs an invidual or two  to coordinate the lunches for racers/committee members.  This includes ordering sandwiches and setting up at the club.  Please let us know if you can help contact Lisa Gifford @ [email protected]

Regatta Party-Saturday August 4th 

The Regatta Party will be held Saturday evening at Olga Dana Green Park beginning at 6:00 p.m.  All sailors, guests and members are welcome to join the festivities. The regatta party is free for kids under the age of 5, $11 for kids ages 6-11 and $21 for 12 and over.    Share racing stories while enjoying a meal by Great Lakes BBQ. We are looking for a few extra hands for the Ephraim Regatta Party to help with pick-up, set-up, buffet help and clean-up.  Please use this link to sign-up Regatta Party
