Un-Regatta, Open BIC Demo – 2009

Friday, July 3rd, 2009

The HOT new O’Pen BICs are coming to EYC to help kick off the fourth! The O’Pen BIC is a new junior dinghy with modern design that is super fun and exciting to sail. Optimum weight is up to 150 lbs. but two kids up to 200 lbs. also have a blast.

Kevin Gratton & Steve Eliasen from Wind Power are coming to town with O’Pen BIC’s available to sail.

These boats are available to race on Sat. afternoon July 4th at 1:30.  Sunday morning July 5th at 9:30 is a demo day for anyone that wants to cruise around the bay. This is a great opportunity to try something new, improve your sailing skills, and check out the new wave of junior sailing. Very basic sailing skills are all that is necessary.

All are welcome so please forward this to anyone who might want to join the fun. Check out the boat and cool three minute video at http://www.windpowerwindsurfing.com/wp_open_bic.html

Ephraim Regatta Pictures Available Online – 2007

Monday, August 13th, 2007

Professional sailing photographer J.H. Peterson of Minneapolis attended the 2007 Ephraim Regatta and took lots of great shots. Photos are available for viewing at http://www.jet-tex.com/JH/07-ephriamYC.htm

The photos are sorted by boat, so it’s easy to find pictures of you and your friends.

You can buy photos, view the slideshows, send photos to friends, save images for viewing later. For those ordering prints, there’s a 25% discount code for purchases entered before August 31. Customers need only to enter “Ephraim” in the discount code box during online payment to receive the 25% discount.

Look for JH’s article on the Ephraim Regatta (with pictures!) in an upcoming issue of SAILING magazine.
