Guidelines for using the Crane at the EYC
- Please leave the Crane chain attached to the loop on the handle of the Crane
- The Crane is tied down separately to keep it from rotating
- If you are not using the Crane please leave the tie down system alone
This year our awesome staff worked with the Equipment, Dock and Clubhouse chairs over the last few weeks to clean-up and ready our equipment, dock and clubhouse for the off season. The EYC is ready for its’ long winter rest. Mark your calendars for May 25th, 2024 to come down to the dock and help open for the 2024 Summer Season.
.
The EYC would like to recognize Susanna Mortarra and Calvin Hoag as the recipients of the 2023 Volunteer of the Year and the 2023 Sportsmanship Award. These two individuals are always part of the action at the EYC. Susanna creates and coordinates activities for our EYC youth members for this summer and the last several summers. On Wednesday nights, Susanna would ensure that our junior members had a fun night at the dock or around Ephraim. Calvin could be seen on the dock and at the clubhouse getting ready to go sailing, helping out with other sailors. His can do attitude and friendly demeanor made certain that the dock was a welcoming place
Congratulations to you both!!
We will see everyone on the dock next season!

Under a lovely sun filled sky, looking out over the beautiful shore of North Bay, EYC members and friends had a spectacular time enjoying each other’s company, bidding on the fabulous auction items, enjoying wonderful food and drink in a beautiful venue, Gordon Lodge! The lights sparkled, the guests smiled their brightest smiles in their fabulous 50’s dress and together we all raised money for sailing scholarships for our Door County boys and girls.
A very big thank you to all our EYC family of friends who attended, donated and helped in our 10th annual ARM-EYC Sailing Scholarship Fundraiser. Thanks to the EYC staff who helped with the auction and moved the boats, once again! The evening was great fun and the spectacular venue truly transported us to a golden time gone by. Surrounded by friends who generously participated in the live and silent auction, it looks like another successful year that will allow us to send more kids to sea.
Our heartfelt thanks! The Moore Family
