News Flash:  Adventure Sailing for Women is here!

Been watching the kids have all the fun this summer?  School supplies can wait.  Join the brand new Adventure Sailing for Women class and sail Eagle Harbor in style.  Bring your friends and enjoy sailing to Leroy’s for coffee, trips to Horseshoe Island, Nicolet Beach and yes, even Fred & Fuzzy’s!  Sun, fun and skills in one great week.  The class is open to women ages 18 and up at any skill level.  The class will run Monday-Friday from 1:30 pm-4:40 pm, from August 8-12th.  The cost for the one week class is $180.  Registration available at www.eyc.org/lessons

Remaining classes filling, some spots remain

The Beginner class is full for the mornings of Session E (August 8-12.)  The Beginner Full Day class is also full.  There are Beginner spaces in the afternoons of Session E and in the morning of Session F.  There are a few spaces for Powerboat Skills beginning next week and the week of August 8th.

Wednesday Youth Activity: Aug. 3: Pirate’s Cove MiniGolf 6 pm.

Let’s all meet at 6 pm at Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf in Sister Bay for a fun night of mini golf and see who can beat the instructors!  The mini golf fee is $7 exactly and includes tax.  Send your kids with exact change please.  All EYC juniors are invite to participate between the ages of 8 -18 years old.  Younger children are welcome to tag along with a parent or guardian.  Drop off and pick up are at Pirate’s Cove. Sign up early in the clubhouse so we know how many kids are coming. We would greatly appreciate having a few parent volunteers to assist the instructors and Chair, Marta Forseca.  Here’s the parent signup sheet

Thursday Teen Activity: FootGolf, 6:30 Aug 4th.

Meet up at Stonehedge in Egg Harbor at 6:30 for FootGolf. FootGolf is a combination of the popular sports of soccer and golf. The game is played with a regulation #5 soccer ball at a 18 hole FootGolf course facility on shortened holes with 21-inch diameter cups. The rules largely correspond to the rules of golf. Bring $13 if you bring your own ball and $15 if you need a ball. Golf Pros may play for the coveted green blazer at the Masters, but you will play for the coveted green Piggly Wiggly t-shirt!!!!
