This Week August 14th- Flying Scot Coaching Session Saturday, Aug 15th.

If you are fortunate to enough to still be in Door County this week, here are a few events for you:

Saturday, Aug 15th.

Attention Flying Scot racers of all skill levels: Join us on Saturday, August 15 at 10:00  for an on-the-water coaching session, where we will pair skippers and crew of different skill levels to race around a W/L course in Eagle Harbor. It is a chance to get pointers or to give back and help coach others. You do not need to come with skipper, crew or boat, just your life jacket and personal gear. We would love to get more experienced sailors to join us and help give pointers to those with less experience. First warning signal at 10:00 AM. Also seeking a volunteer for safety boat. Any questions, please contact Jennifer Ikeda Faugust at [email protected]

Monday, Aug 17th

Session F begins.   August 17-21 (morning lessons only-  Beginner and Intermediate).  Private Lessons are available by calling 920 854-7107 or www.eyc.org/lessons.

Many thanks to all our students, staff and families for a fabulous summer of sailing instruction at the EYC. We hope you find opportunities to practice your skills over the winter, and we look forward to seeing you on the dock in 2016.

Racing Committee Thanks!!

A huge thanks  to our Racing Committee Co-Chairs Nancy Claypool and Bjorn Hooper.  They coordinated the most well run Ephraim Regatta in recent history and facilitated  a racing schedule to accommodate all levels of sailing.  Please take the time to thank them for their efforts if you see them in the future! Their commitment to EYC is greatly appreciated.
