Reminder: Help Close the EYC Saturday September 1

All EYC members are invited and encouraged to help clean and close the EYC beginning at 9:00 AM on Saturday, September 1.

Most projects should be finished by around noon.  There are jobs for persons of all ages, abilities, and strengths.  The EYC will provide a burger, bratwurst and hot dog lunch for those who help.  BYO chips and beverages.

The EYC’s staff have gone back to school.  The EYC relies heavily on its member volunteers to open and close the EYC each season, which helps hold down dues and makes the EYC accessible for all.  Last year over 50 EYC members — out of almost 1000 people who are members — helped close the EYC.  Please help us exceed that number this year!

The EYC needs eight strong volunteers to help with a one-hour project on the morning of Sunday, September 2.  We will meet at Death’s Door Marine in Sister Bay at 9:00 AM to load the EYC’s vertical electric boat lift onto a trailer.  We will then proceed to the EYC to unload the lift.  The lift is heavy, so wear your work boots and gloves.  EYC parents, this is a good excuse for you to get your teens out of bed early on Sunday morning.  If you are able to help, RSVP to [email protected] or phone Jay Lott (414) 322-7880.
