The EYC Needs Strong Helpers Saturday October 1

EYC member Mike Callahan has generously offered to refurbish and paint an EYC Flying Scot.  Mike is an expert professional boatwright, so the EYC is looking forward to the “Milton” looking bright and new for 2012!

In order for Mike to begin his work, we need eight to ten strong persons to help flip the Milton upside down at 4:30 PM on Saturday, October 1 in Egg Harbor.  IF YOU CAN BE THERE, PLEASE REPLY TO THIS E-MAIL.  The job will take less than ten minutes; beverages will be provided afterwards to soothe any aching muscles, or even if your muscles do not ache.

The refurbishment of the Milton is the next step in the EYC’s plan to create a culture of caring for the EYC’s shared boats and equipment.  Please help as we begin our project to make the EYC’s Flying Scots look good so that EYC members, staff and juniors have an incentive to keep them that way!

Additional details will be provided to all volunteers.
