This Week at the EYC June 13-19

The EYC’s summer schedule begins to get busy this week!

The EYC’s first lesson session begins Monday, June 13 at 9:00 AM.  There are still openings at all levels.  Register at www.eyc.org/lessons.  The registration deadline for Session A is noon Sunday, June 12.  (Later sessions have later deadlines.)

The EYC hosts a CPR class on the afternoon of Thursday, June 16.  A few enrollment slots are available to members.  Cost is minimal.  To enroll, contact EYC Commodore Marsella Fults [email protected] by June 13.

Saturday, June 18 is the first day of racing at the EYC.  The Fyr Bal Regatta (part of the season-long Saturday Flying Scot series) is in the morning.  Optimist series races are in the afternoon.  Flying Junior and Laser series races begin the afternoon of Sunday, June 19.  For details see www.eyc.org/racing.

The second annual Fyr Bal Family Cookout begins Saturday, June 18 at 6:00 PM.  The EYC will provide grilled entrees.  Bring a side dish and your own beverages.  We will grill out, then watch the Fyr Bal bonfires from the end of the EYC pier.

Bridge is already under way.  The EYC hosts open play bridge, couples bridge and bridge lessons.  For more information on EYC bridge, see www.eyc.org.

The EYC was featured last week in the Milwauee Journal-Sentinel, in a story about outdoor activities in Door County.  www.jsonline.com/features/travel/123065028.html

In order to simplify accounting processes, the EYC NO LONGER ACCEPTS CASH (except in the soda machine).  If you need to purchase something from the EYC, bring your checkbook!  However, online lesson registrations are paid with a credit card.
