Meet the Director – Hugh Haggerty – 2007

Hugh O’Reilly Haggerty hails from Dallas Texas but calls Galveston home. He is 23 and attends Texas A&M Galveston. He is involved at the Corintian Sailing Club and Fort Worth Sailing Club along with the EYC. Hugh is on the Texas A&M Galveston Varsity Sailing Team and has been captain for 2 years. He is also the Development Coordinator for the South Eastern Intercollegiate Sailing Association. His favorite ice cream flavor is Mackinac Island Fudge and he prefers the C&C for dining in DC. He is a true Texan and says “it’s always bigger in Texas”! This is Hughs fifth year at the club and second as Director. We wish to especially thank him for all the extra off season time he spent helping us get ready!
